Hello, darlings!
I know, I know. You really, REALLY want news about Broken Kei. I am still working on it, I promise! But you know that quote about life is what happens when you’re busy making other plans? That’s me. I’m a single mom raising two boys while living with and caring for my parents, so writing just can’t be my full-time profession. In the last few years, I’ve had a rough time. I’ve been ill, my family has been ill, we’ve been dealing with injuries and deaths, I’ve lost a close family member to cancer, and then my dog died. I’ve been a little preoccupied…and tired.
But not all is lost! Kelly Oram and I have agreed to be writing buddies for NaNoWriMo this year, encouraging each other to finish the books that our fans so desperately want. Because, trust me, we want you to have those books too. (Really, it’s part of our plan—first, we’ll finish our books, then we’ll take over the world. Small steps.)
So thank you for being patient with me.❤ I really appreciate all the lovely emails and messages many of you have sent.❤ It’s time for me to buckle down and have at it again. I know it’s been a long wait, and if you can bear with me a little longer, it’ll be worth it. I promise.
